The first EIBTM hybrid conference highlights the event industry research

The study surveyed 1,037 people, of whom 838 were based in Europe, while 975 people interviewed had organized events in Europe. Aix Administration

Research shows there will be an increase in meetings and events being held in 2013, with respondents producing an average of six events in 2012, rising to around eight in 2013.

The average number of delegates at each event was 262, with 22.4% of European buyers saying that was an increase over the previous year.

63.2% of European buyers said delegation numbers remained flat, while 14.4% said the numbers had decreased.
